It is advisable that participants ensure that they have access to the financial records and business plans for their organisation in order to complete the assessment.

  • Conduct an environmental (internal and external) analysis of a business
  • Articulate the aims, objectives and key aspects of a strategic plan and a business plan, which takes account of the organisational vision and mission
  • Develop a strategic plan and a business plan based on the strategic plan
  • Implement the strategic and business plans
  • Monitor the success of the strategic and business plans and respond to performance

This program is nationally accredited and includes assessment at AQF Level 6.

The learning outcomes provide the National Competency Standards for:

  • BSBMGT616A – Develop and implement strategic plans
  • BSBMGT617A – Develop and implement a business plan
