How to obtain a qualification with AIM SA
AIM SA Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs are very flexible
and provide you with a wide range of options. Based on adult learning
principles, they are hands on and practical, with a focus on competencies
required in the business environment.
The courses making up the
Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications can be completed
through one or more of the following means:
- Attendance at AIM SA Scheduled Courses
- Participation in an In-house Training program conducted by AIM SA for the employee’s organisation
- Skills
Recognition (RPL)
- Credit Transfer
What Is Assessment?
Assessment consolidates what has been learnt and completes the training
process. Participants gain a nationally recognised Statement of
Attainment. Organisations benefit through improved productivity through
the completion of a range of work based tasks including written questions and
answers, application workbooks, workplace evidence, workplace assignments and
projects, and third-party comments. There are no exams in AIM SA
VET programs.
The Assessment Process is Not Difficult!
The assessment process is not complicated or even
difficult. It is an essential way to consolidate what has been learnt and
supports the direct application of the new learning into the workplace,
providing a measurable return on investment to both the employer and
employee.
Over 80% of AIM SA
programs are nationally accrediated which means assessment is available on all
of these offerings (note: assessment costs are incoporated into the
enrolment fee). Any assessed units achieved can be counted towards a
full qualification in the future.
Employability Skills
Employability skills are embedded in training and assessment. Information on
the employability skills relevant to your qualification can be obtained by
